Okay, I was putting this off for a while. Really it was my boyfriend who finally got me to do it. He took me to the farmer’s market near his house. I loved it, and it totally got me inspired to get back on the bandwagon with this goal.
I bought:
2 cucumbers
2 tomatoes
1 bunch of celery
1 avocado
strawberries
fresh dairy cream cheese (OMG amazing)
...and a bunch of gerber daisies from my bf!
As my boyfriend said, buying things at the farmer’s market just makes you feel so good. :D

This goal will officially begin on Tuesday, when there is an awesome weekly Farmer’s Market near me that I have been to many times before. This week I didn’t need any veggies/don’t have money. lol.

...is having good food in the house! I’ve started eating healthy veggie sandwiches for lunch consisting of tomato, spinach, cucumber and sometimes avocado slices on whole grain sourdough bread with dijon mustard. Now that I’ve upped my veggie intake, it’s time to take the next step and start buying those veggies from the farmer’s market. Another good challenge will be to buy things that look yummy and then actually cook them. I see this goal as having the potential to change my whole outlook on food.
