Catch, gut, clean, and eat a fish

Joe is a little clumsy. The one bite we got the whole entire fishing trip was on my line- the “snag” turned out to be a 16 inch speckled trout. Beautiful. I reeled it in in awe and told Joe to get the net. How this thing escaped through the net is beyond me, but seeing my baby go right before my eyes hurt like a knife in my heart.
Another day, another trip!

I’m going to the cottage for the long weekend. Goin Fishin’. When I get back Monday, this goal is goin on the done list. Wish me luck!
