Now I'm more stable... 2 months ago

I would like to lose a bit of weight. I don’t care how much I weigh, exactly, its just how I look. Would like a flat stomach, for starters, now I think about it. Will begin geading towards this goal by drinking 2 litres of water a day to reduce bloating. I found a good goal-making website somewhere, and think I should use their goal-making system to motivate and inspire me.

Compared to last year... 7 months ago

I have changed my life for the better. I have more friends, I’m more optimistic… the only thing that may have been affected is my studies, but it can’t all be rainbows and butterflies, I guess!

Income blues 11 months ago

I think to change my life in any way, I’ll have to declare financial independence from my parents. Hence the need for a job. But I need another reference…

Some people might say my life is in a rut! 12 months ago

...because I would. I keep getting told by friends and acquaintances that I’m ‘amazing’ and ‘perfect’ but that isn’t how I see myself. How can I be perfect if I know there’s loads of stuff that could be improved in my life??
I would like to figure out what to do with my life… which could be sone by idenitifying my talent and asking other people. I can’t do anything for myself, nowadays.

Relationships with people 13 months ago

I tried my very best to be nice to everyone today. I was diplomatic and mature, and I tried my best to help everyone and say nice things about them. I need to keep this up, and then maybe I’ll be one step closer to achieving this goal.

Today... 13 months ago

I got a lot of compliments from people. Does this mean that my relationships with people are improving? Also, I’ve talked to a bunch of people and they all seem to… like me? Relationships with others isn’t something I’ve ever had major problems with, but I would like to get on better with my family and strengthen my relationships with people I never/hardly ever see. So that is my relationship rant for today.

So what do I want to change about my life? 13 months ago
  • Relationships with people
  • Appearance (to some extent)
  • Focus
  • The way I treat others
  • Behaviour
  • Morals
  • Eating habits
  • Intelligence

Thats’ all I can think of for now. I’ll try and get my goals to relate to these things… it’ll make me more focused (see goal 3).

How To Become What You Wish To Be In Life 13 months ago

from wikihow

What’s the meaning of life? Well, maybe nobody really knows the answer to that question, but figuring out what your purpose in life is can be accomplished with some honest introspection. Figuring out your overall plan can help you achieve your ultimate goal and be what you want to be.

Steps

  1. Think hard about your aspirations. What is it that you are passionate about? How do you want to benefit (from) other people?
  2. Understand your strengths. What do you find comes easiest to you, or that you enjoy doing the most? Do you have an innate talent in mathematics? Do you find it easy to express emotions to other people? Are you comfortable speaking with other people? Do you have a passion for educating others on the topics with which you are most familiar? Are you a one-of-a-kind athlete? These are only a handful of potential questions that you could ask yourself.
    * If you’re uncertain about what your strengths are, don’t worry — you’re not alone. There are a number of actions that you can take to help recognize what you do best. Everyone has a talent or skill in some particular field.
  3. Consider some potential career options. There are a multitude of careers out there, but they will ultimately narrow down to that which you enjoy doing the most. Think about what actually is in you — the real you, and your real wish. It may help to consider what you would be willing to pay to do, or to do even if you weren’t being paid.
  4. Ask your friends and family. What personal characteristics and talents do you reflect to them? What do they think would be good for you, in terms of a career, that highlight these characteristics? Although you should not rely completely on what they suggest, there is great value in their observations of what they see in you as a person.
  5. Have confidence. Become your own person. Don’t follow anyone else’s style — create your own. Make decisions based on your own aspirations and goals for yourself. Don’t base your standards or values on the standards of others.
  6. Join clubs or other organizations that pertain to your talent. You can become more familiar with your determined area of expertise, further strengthening your talents.
  7. Set your goals and commit to them. Be certain with yourself that you want to follow through with a particular area for the foreseeable future. Don’t make a decision and change your mind in a matter of months. Write down your goals and revisit the list often.
  8. Follow your dreams. Don’t let anyone hold you back.

Does anyone have any idea... 13 months ago

How to go about starting this? It seems like something I should try and do.
