I went shopping with my grandma today, she owed me a birthday present and wanted to buy my Christmas presents too.
We ended up buying:
- A black leather handbag
- Black leather ankle boots
- A scarf from the Christmas gift market which is a little bit sparkly and a pashmina-style thing
- A black and silver floral patterned high-waisted skirt from H&M! Now just to look for a top to wear with it… :)

I realised today that I need a nice ‘going-out’ style top, and a skirt to wear with it that can be dressed up or down. I was thinking of a lacy cami top or something, which I can then wera a cardigan over, and a patterned skirt. I think if I wore it with black patent court shoes it would look nice.
Also, I bought a wide belt today from H&M. My last on is in pieces, so it was time to get a new one :)

Mum has bought me this cardigan, which usually wouldn’t be my type of thing but I do quite like it, makes a difference from my usual cardigans. And can be formal or informal, I guess :)
It’s a Christmas present for me so it won’t be owned until then…

I bought these shoes today, as my old pair of flats are completely ruined, to put it in the nicest possible way. I think they’ll last, as long as they don’t get wet :P

I bought a new tshirt today with ruffled sleeves and a boat neckline. I’ve had my eye on it for a while and I think it’ll look nice with a necklace or a brooch or something on it. It follow the rules of thumb I’ve now come across too :)

Because I have a small chest I should wear:
- Top-heavy clothes e.g. statement shoulders, gathered sleeves
- Colour, layers and patterns e.g. sequins, stripes, large prints
- Unusual necklines e.g. ruffled, lacy, scallop neck, scoop neck
- Accessories at chest area e.g. large brooches, scarves maybe?
- Backless dresses
- Spaghetti straps
- Bandeau dresses to show off shoulders instead of boobs
Because I have a small waist I should wear:
- Wide belts just below bust, ending at waist (in contrasting colour)
- Tighter tops
- Empire lines
Other:
- Relatively wide hips: bright colours on top, no tops that cut off at the hip. Maybe either long tops/tunics or tucked into a high-waisted skirt with a belt?
- Would like a push-up bra or two to enhance cleavage :) a strapless one/multiway would be good

I have no idea about what type of clothes I like. I need to like… find my style but have no idea how to go about it. Like, I find it hard to find clothes I like. Then when I do find them, they hardly ever suit me or anything.
I don’t even have time to shop. Schoolwork and earning money are wasating my time :( what’s the point in earning if I can’t spend it??

Now I’m earning money, I should find it so much easier to get nice clothes. I know not to spend all my money on clothes, but I will set aside a certain amount each month to buy some =)

I’m making a list of 100 material possessions I would like to but. I will cross things off and note them down as I make this list!
