I just found out the company I work for has extended my contract until Dec 29th. That’s great news, but it also means that I cannot go to China in November as I planned.
Hopefully I’ll be able to go in 2007 instead, I don’t know how the climate is during spring? Otherwise I’ll go in fall ‘07.
This goal is long term.

Planning to go in November 3 years ago

One of my best friends just came home from two weeks in Shanghai and Beijing. I haven’t even seen her photos yet, but just from what she told me – I want to go there NOW! But, I need to wait until I can get time off from work. November is my goal as for now.

It’s this completely different culture, with a fascinating history and in some ways the opposite of our way of living in the west. (And in addition, it seems to be a total paradise for us who like to shop!)
