This is an origami white mouse for the book “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. It should be obvious why I chose this design if you’ve read the book.

And, with that, I am considering this goal complete. :)
Though, I do hope/plan to continue doing this. I just won’t be documenting them.

I made this note an origami dove for the book “A Reliable Wife” because the woman in the book got a pet bird and there is a bird on the cover. I made it white because a lot of story takes place in a north Wisconsin town during the winter.

I made this note an origami fox for the book “Ella Minnow Pea” because it has a lot to do with the pangram “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.”

I made this note an origami white rabbit because it was going into “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and I put a note in it with a quote by Lewis Carroll.

I made this note an origami heart because it is close to Valentine’s Day and because you can open it and write something inside. And, I made it yellow because I put the note into the book “Dandelion Wine”. :)
I just put a nice quote in this one:

So, I figure I will mark this done when I have put either five or ten different notes into books that I return. But, I hope to do more than that.
I’ll probably use post-it notes so that they don’t fall out.
I really like this goal.
I’ve found things in books before, but I don’t know if it was intentional or on accident. I hope the people who find my notes know I left them for them. :)
