I am reading Jo Spence and Judith Weiser. They write about family albums, and I am shocked/illuminated by “family album is a visual index of the desires of the parents”, what they want us to be,
and what is more interesting is all the things that are missing.

The Book, part one  — 9 months ago

I want to scan all the old photographs, of my grandparents etc., (I’ll have to ask family members who live away to have it complete) and print them into a beautifully binded book. I will call it the Pajama Box Book because this is where the photographs are now.
