Reasons not to smoke are simple: It’s bad for you. Some people will judge you for it. You will get hooked if you keep smoking and it is very anoying to need a cig and not be able to smoke one cause your out or in a place that doesn’t allow it. It can be expensive.

Reasons to try smoking are: You are curious what it is like. You think it looks cool. you are atracted to people who smoke. You like taking risks. you want to get rid of your “good girl / boy image. You want to piss off your parents.

Reasons to keep smoking are: It is neat. Many people think it does look cool. Many people are more or even much more attracted to people that smoke. It is risky. It will get rid of your good girl / boy image. It probably will annoy your parents. It is relaxing. It does help keep your weight down. It is enjoyable. It helps keep you awake. It helps you think. It will help you meet other people that smoke. Being hooked is actualy pleasureable if you don’t have to go that long without smoking. It is rebelious. It goes great with coffee, sex, chocolate, reading a book, driving, conversation, or just laying there and watching the surf / trees / river / people. If your young it will make you look older.

Believe me I have helped people on line and in person many times and although you can go it alone andeventualy get there it is much easier with a tutor.

Some people may think I’m evil and maybe I am but I do enjoy smoking very much. I am hooked and probably couldn’t quit if I wanted to. If I knew when I started smoking at 15 what I know now I still would have started then. I am more atracted to guys and girls that smoke smoke. and I do think the pros outweigh the cons buy a tun. How to start 3 years ago

I wrote this as a response to a question that someone on 43 sent me but I figured it might be useful to others.

I would actually start with menthols, something like cools or Newport’s will work nicely. The trick is to learn how to inhale and its easier with menthols. when your first inhaling the method that works best is to take just a tiny miniscule drag, remove the cigarette from your mouth and inhale quickly, it’s hard at first to get it past your throat but once the smoke is in your lungs you can keep it there as long as you want and exhaling is usually no problem. If you start to feel sick, stop immediately and try again later. It takes practice for your stomach and throat to get used to the smoke but once they are its not uncomfortable at all. do this 3 to 5 times a day at first or you probably wont ever get into it. As to what brand to ultimately smoke, that depends on what you like the taste of and why you want to smoke. If you want to get hooked the quickly Marlboro red 100’s probably have the most addictive things in them and they taste pretty good to me, but there are all kinds of brands that taste totally different. Try different brands if you like. Camels are kind of sweet and taste like shi*t to me but many people like them. Whatever brand you choose try to inhale deeper and deeper with time. If you do really take up smoking, do get the most out of your habit. That doesn’t mean smoke 5 packs a day it means enjoy your smoking habit as much as possible. Don’t just smoke out of habit, make it a point to enjoy every cigarette. When you smoke stop what your doing and relax, daydream, or think about things, watch the smoke as it comes out of your lungs and exhale away your days worries. If you get hooked and most people do, use it to your advantage. Instead of just smoking more and more stay at an amount you choose, if your nicing think of how enjoyable it will be when you can saturate your lungs when next you smoke. Don’t feel guilty for smoking, you are free to do whatever you want and if it makes you happy thats a great reason to smoke. If you run into one of those second hand smoke Nazis tell them you don’t enjoy inhaling there exhaust and would they mind never driving again. Its not the best habbit but very fun! 3 years ago

I have been smoking for 4 years. It goes great with coffee, after meals, and uh, in bed. I’m going to hell for this but it’s been a great experance. I smoke 1 – 1.5 packs a day started at 16 and although some guys are turned off by it others are actualy turned on. I can’t realy encourage it but if you decide to I’m willing to help tell you how to start the easy way (It’s not as easy as it looks). (I’m realy going to hell)
