Save $1000

At 700 now! I have no major money-eating things ahead of me right now, so I could really make it this time. And after this is completed, I’ll start paying off my loans.

I have spent everything I had (and had a good time at it, too) and now, once more, I’m living really hand to mouth. Fortunately I’m getting a better job in the autumn! Until that I just hope I can make ends meet.

So I’m almost done studying and can finally work as much as I like. So maybe during the summer I can save a thousand and finally finally finally feel a bit more stable financially. And not worry about sudden big expenses.

I now have about 1500 to my name. Some of this will be spent when my financial situation is worse in the spring, but then, if I hadn’t saved up over a thousand euro, I don’t know what I’d do in the spring. And what’s better, I’ve really learned to keep a budget. And knowing that I can make ends meet in the future brings more financial security than any amount of money than any amount of money I have now.

I’m currently at somewhere around €400. I recently moved and it was so expensive that I had to spend all -literally, all – of the money on my savings account. And still I had to ask for some money from my parents. This was humiliating and it felt like I had no control over my own life.

What I’d like to do now is have €1000 of extra money in case something happens: I lose my job, or my housing loan goes up, or I fall ill… I can’t afford to borrow any money from a bank and my budget is tight in any case, so knowing I have that extra money there would really bring som security into my life.

Hopefully by Christmas I have completed this goal.
