I hardly wild released any books last year as my PND just made me not be bothered by most of the things that I love doing. I’m starting my 43 things list again for 2007, so am having a tidy up.

I wild released 4 books last week in Saltaire, but no catches yet.
We went to Ikea on Friday, so I wild released 7 books. One has been caught. Woo hoo!
Andy is going to London for the day & I’ve given him 2 books to wild release.
Not done any wild releasing since the Valentine’s Day challenge, so must get my ar&e is gear & do a few more.
The challenge starts Feb 1 and runs until Feb 14th. The books may be a romance, or have the word Love or Heart in the Title. I Love Brocolli, I Love to Cook, Valentine or Cupid etc. Also love stories like Romeo and Juliet are great. Everyone should try and release 14 books, I know some won’t be able to do this, but then others will release in multiples of 14, so it all works out for a nice total. Any book with the word Cupid or Valentine count as 2 points the same goes for any book that has the picture of Cupid or a Valentine on front cover. All I ask is that you use some discretion in releasing any steamy books, they would be better suited for a bar, beauty salon, laundramat than a bus shelter.

I’ll add some more to this tomorrow as I have 2 more books to register.
I took 4 books to the Sheffield bookcrossing meet yeterday, though I do normally take about 20, but my reading has slowed down.
Just sorted out 7 books to wild release at Tropical World when we go later today & I noticed a Valentine’s Day Challenge on the bookcrossing site to release 14 books about love. I’ve found 5 that’ll do, so will wild release those too.
We went for lunch today in a pub around the corner from where we used to live, to meet up with friends. I wild released 10 books in the pub, 2 of which were picked up by the landlord. I;d forgotten that he likes to read & that afpmeets have been hosted there in the past. He’d probably be open to having an OBCZ, but I don’t live near there any more.
I’ve got out of the habit of wild releasing, partly because I’ve misplaced my wild release bags & it’s winter & drizzles a lot. Nothing stopping me wild reelasing indoors though is there? I should have taken some books to Tropical World last week, especially as Kate (aged 3) loves wild releasing. Am hoping that this goal will kick start me again.
