I got a new personal trainer to start me out on a weight lifting routene. Muscles hurt, but making progress.

As mentioned in my heart rate entry I take a step aerobics class 2X a week. 30 minutes of this class is step and 30 minutes is toning. Most of this toning is with free weights. On Wednesdays I take a Total Body Conditioning class which is an hour of free weight and toning excersises. I take Yoga as well, although we use our body weight as resistance (and I have plenty of body weight), I guess it doesn’t count as weight training. So along with my extra visit to the gym for quality time on the elipical machine, I’ll vow to get at least 20 minutes on the weight lifting machines. An extra hour a week at the gym can’t kill me, right?
