I have discovered the secret to walking in heels, or at least almost walking in them. I’ve always bought a size 7 shoe but since I’ve lost weight I’ve started buying size 6. They fit but are snug, they fit much tighter and they are so much easier to walk in because they are a tight fit. I wore them around the house today to break them in and I didn’t feel unsteady and actually felt like I could walk in them. They also have a platform which helps. Maybe I have discovered the secret…
Now I just need to figure out how to combat the pain.

as I think heels are so much more elegant but when I wear them I spend most of my time worrying about falling over. I’m putting this goal on the back burner for now as my weight makes it more difficult. I know it’s not true but I just feel that the heels aren’t strong enough to hold my weight. I’m currently focussing on losing weight so once I have got my weight down I will work on this goal.

and I suck at walking in them! It was my cousin’s friends 18th birthday and I got a taxi to and from the door and even then I couldn’t walk in them! I had to be escorted across the dance floor to the bar, just in case I fell over in the middle of the dance floor. I need to practise!
I used to work with a teacher who always wore huge heels for school and she claimed that it was all practise
