write to a soldier

I’m still looking but I’m mostly coming across dating sites still. I did contact a lady from a local newspaper who organises letters to soldiers and she e-mailed me her list of addresses so I’ll write to a few and see what happens.

I’m kind of a bit disillusioned with this! I spent ages hunting around today on various websites to figure out which would be the best and for the most part they just seem like dating sites – loads of girls advertising for single soldiers to write to. One website even asked for a FIFTY pound fee to join for a year. As much as I want to write to a soldier, I ain’t paying that much money to do it. I’ll keep hunting about though, there must be some good sites.

Does anybody know of any?
