...seems to be my criminal record from Canada. It depends who you talk to:
1) The embassy says that if I’m going back for Christmas, I should just drop into my local RCMP with my passport and have it printed off straight away.
2) The RCMP say as a non-resident of Canada, I need to go to the prefecture in France, have my fingerprints taken and certified, mail them back to Canada and wait 120 days for the results.
Lots of other paperwork is in the process of being collected…

... it only took two prefectures, an hour wait and just the token argument with a fonctionnaire, but I managed to get the application and the list of documents that I need to obtain!
All of my previous addresses, ever. And my parent’s birth certificates (translated by a certified French translator) and their marriage certificate. Lots of tickets, and copies of, and resumes, etc.
Is it going to happen?
