OK, started, just need to keep it going now. 2 years ago

Doing the gym once a week to start with. Mostly weights. I’ve had 5 sessions so far and I’m already noticing some benefit.

I generally start with arms and chest, doing latteral and incline bench’s and the peck deck. Then I do some shoulders (front and back), some legs (weight machine and squats), some upper back and some abs. I need to learn some exercised for the lower back.

It always takes two days before I’m in pain. After the first session I was aching for almost a week but it’s not as bad now – maybe I should be pushing myself more. Is it supposed to hurt after EVERY session?



Exercise in the morning 3 years ago

Apparently it’s better for your metabolism to exercise in the morning. It’s not so good for my sleep though. But, fitness comes first.

So, I’ve been up and on the exercise bike a few mornings last week (just for 10 mins or so). I think I’ll need to start going to bed earlier so that I can get up in the morning and maybe do a 20 minute workout before I get ready for work.
