Does an 'almost' count?

...cause really, I joined the Running Room and almost made it to the end. I could run for 8 minute intervals, which is pretty darn good considering the program brings you to 10 minutes. Hooray!

I did fall off the wagon, as usual. I’ll get back on just as soon as my face doesn’t freeze when I’m out running, k? Spring 2011. ;)



Progress report...sort of

I made it through Week 2 successfully but recent events in my life have caused my exercise regimen to slip in the past week. I will be resuming my workouts tomorrow, hopefully, and I’ll hang out at Week 2 a while longer. It can’t hurt – and frankly, I didn’t find that running Week 2 just three times qualified me to ‘graduate’ to Week 3, so I’ll take all the practice I can get. We’ll see how it goes.



Trying this again

6 months later, this time training for a June date. Will I succeed? Who knows. Haha

I’m failing miserably at this!!! :( I hate running so I’m not doing it. I’m obviously going to opt to walk the 5K instead of running it. Ugh.



I'm failing...

...miserably, I might add. I’ll have to see how I can remedy the situation considering that I’m signed up for the 5K and it’s in only 5 weeks!!



Week 1: Day 2

Brutal, but not as bad as Wednesday. Day 3 is tomorrow (yes, extending into Monday of the long weekend, cause I’m lazy.) I don’t enjoy running, and find it very hard to believe that somehow, with “perseverance”, I’ll grow to love it. But I have no choice, seeing as how I already signed up for the race. :(



Week 1: Day 1

The phrase I don’t know what the hell I was thinking… is the only thing that’s going through my head at the moment.
