Getting there 2 months ago

Well gym didn’t last but have lost about 5 kilos in the last 5 weeks just watching what i am eating. So 15 to go



Man sometimes i suck lol 10 months ago

I look back at previous entries and they are so positive and then i think well i don’t blog when i am not doing well lol. Have joined the gym (thanks mum) and am starting on the weight watchers point thingy but won’t be going to the meetings. wish me luck

Well day 4 and i am still sticking to it! yay!



I made a real start on this today 16 months ago

Its back on the shake diet for me today, so i am sure i am going to be a bit out of sorts as i detox for the next few weeks. i feel good that i am doing something about this though. On my lunch i walked up 6 flights of stairs which showed me how unfit i am lol

just can’t seem to sort myself out! sigh



Weighed in for the first time in almost 6 months 18 months ago

and it wasn’t pretty! have put on a huge amount of weight which i knew but having the actual number confirmed sucked :( the only good thing is that weighing in has really spurred me on to get back on track. I have made a commitment to myself to:

  • Drink 2 litres of water every day
  • Only have coffee/juice/softdrink when i am out for a special ocassion
  • to eat 5 serves of veggies every day
  • avoid bread,pasta and rice (mainly because i think they cause fibromyalgia symptons)
  • evercise 4 times a week
  • increase my incidental exercise (take the stairs etc)


update 19 months ago

well i have been drinking more water but i need to drink more still. One big thing i am changing this week is to stop eating donuts on my way to work! I have gotten into the bad habit of stopping and getting coffee on my way to work and where i get it gives me two free donuts. So this morning i just walked straight past.



Still really struggling with this ... 19 months ago

I think i need to create some mini goals to work on within this. First of all i need to get back to drinking 2 litres of water each day

In 2007 i lost 28 kilos so this is part of an ongoing effort to improve my health
