Our electricity went out this morning. I believe it went out before my alarm was scheduled to go off, since I don’t remember hearing it. I got up at 845, though.
Woke up and stayed up for about an hour or so.
Did better today. Woke up BEFORE my alarm went off. Woo hoo
I didn’t get up at 530 like planned. Instead I got up at 7. I did get up when my alarm went off and turned on the t.v. The thing is, I got back in bed and laid down, “listening” with my eyes closed. When I finally got out of bed, I went into the living room to… go back to sleep!!! What is wrong with me? Will I ever get better? I certainly hope so, but right now, it doesn’t seem like it.
Well, I went to see my case worker today. With my particular condition, my sleep cycle can get out of wack. She said that the best thing for me to do was to be on a sleep schedule. That means going to bed at the same time every night and getting up at the same time every morning. That means that I will have to get up when my alarm clock goes off everyday from now on.
I got up, but didn’t stay up. I went back to bed after I got up to use the restroom. Why is it that I am not disciplined enough to get up?????
Well, the alarm went off at 530 a.m. I didn’t get up then, but, I got up an hour and a half later at 7 a.m. I know that it isn’t the same as getting up when the alarm goes off, but it is much better than turning off the alarm and going back to bed until sometime in the late afternoon. Going to bed late doesn’t help either. I will get this goal down, I know.
My sleep schedule has really been out of wack. I recently was diagnosed with a mild case of bipolar, and am having a hard time accepting it. I do intend to, within the next week or two, start getting up at 530. I know that that will make my parents very proud.
Got up 2 hours before the alarm went off. But that was like 330, so I wnt back to bed and overslept.
