teach someone to read

i have a lil brother, although he knows the alphabet already, can spell out words he see, he still has trouble reading. okay okay, so i’m a bit lazy, not helping mom teach & encourage him to read more and instead i push him into playing computer games(bad me!).
but im goin to start doing it this week.
i just hope he doesn’t throw tantrums again.
sometimes he makes up a lot of excuses for me to stop.
