Have my wisdom teeth taken out

Obviously I survived the procedure.

The next few days will be telling. I think the bleeding has all but stopped.

I still can’t feel my lower jaw much, and my lower lip is dead.

May be a good thing…

the jury is still out.

Me, I am waiting for the pain to remain at bay without the aid of interesting pharamceuticals.

And very greatful to be alive.

You see, I have never had anesthesia before.

The last thing you sign is an explicit acknowledgement that you may not live to walk out of the room.

This is one time I am really glad I am not a 1 percenter

Consider the facts at hand…

Police Officer... tell us what happened.

You... Well, they took a bunch of money from me. Then this guy strapped me down, shot me full of drugs so I couldn’t recognize anybody…

Then the ripped a couple of my teeth out with pliers…

and then…

Police Officer... its ok, its over, tell us what happened next.

You... Ok, I’m still shaking. We’ll then they took a saw and some knives and then they chopped out two more teeth, and left me bleeding in the same room…

Next thing I know I’m being thrown out of the place with a threat to come back in a couple of weeks… or else.

Police wow. You’re looking at four counts of aggravated asault with a deadly weapon… terroristic threats… and felony theft at least.

The appointment is made with the oral surgeon.

Drugs are in hand….

Preparations are in motion.

T minus 5 days and counting….

Well, I have taken the plunge and actually invested in a TRIP TO THE DENTIST.

It was scarey.

The good news is that the dentist has seen far worse cases than what I have to worry about.

The bad news is that the answer will involve an oral surgeon…

THEN a return trip to the dentist.

Once for the emergency cavity repair.

A second time to repair the damaged gum line.

Meanwhile I get to look forward to haveing four teeth removed the old fashioned way.

General anesthesia.

Bone cutting.

And surgical excision.

I now have insurance coverage (in addition to a certain appointment)

I have an appoinment with the Dentistcue the scarey music

I have insurance in the wings.
