Read 20 books in 2009

I only got through 9 Books in 2009. I will do better next year by keeping a book with me always and only reading books I’m interested in, rather than ‘I should read this’ books.

8. Grinding It Out: The Making of McDonald’s, by Ray Kroc
9. Freakonomics

My 2008 goal was to read 25 books, and I made it to 22 books. The Brothers Karamazov was a great book, but it was long and intense and took the wind from my sails. I set a goal of 50 in 2007, 25 in 2008, and now I’m going for 20 in 2009.
