Write more thank you notes

Oh god I suck! I wrote all the thank you cards but I still haven’t sent them! It’s been a month. I’m such a dork.

Writing thank you notes is on my mind big time since we got married on the 14th. We are still working on them but getting them written and out.

I’ve been getting a lot better about this. I kind of look forward to writing thank you notes now, where before it was a chore. I am planning on writing a short note to each of my professors this semester as well as my academic advisor just to show them that they’re appreciated.

My grandmom sent me $100 for my birthday and I sent out her thank you card today. That’s less than a week after I received the gift so I think that’s pretty good.

I always put off thank-you cards. It’s a small thing, but it’s a nice gesture to people and I know I should do it immediately after I receive a gift. I always put it off and off and then it never gets done. I am going to try really hard to remember to do this whenever I get a gift because it’s only a minute but it shows someone that I really appreciate their thoughtfulness. It’s just the right thing to do.
