Get married....and STAY married

For many reasons 2010-2011 have been our hardest years. Health problems leading to money problems leading to relationship problems are the main cause. We are both working on being more positive about our lives and to each other. Hopefully by the time our 4th anniversary arrives, we will have overcome many of the issues we’re facing today.

This year has probably been the hardest. It doesn’t help that we got in a fight on our anniversary date and I am still having some bad feelings about that. Not the best weekend of our marriage, I’m afraid. But it has been 3 years so that’s something.

2 & a half years now – still good!

and so far so good, LOL!

Well, got the first part down! We got married on March 14 and we plan to be going strong for eternity :)

My BF of 4 years proposed to me on November 8 and we are planning a very non-traditional wedding and reception, hopefully on Halloween. I’m not looking forward to planning this thing, though. It seems to be mostly a mix of social obligation and the opportunity to offend everyone I know. So I’m going low-key – courthouse wedding, Halloween party. No first dance or bouquet toss or daddy giving me away. That works for some people, and more power to you, but I just don’t think I have the fortitude for all that damn pressure.
