I’ve now driven with my new vision. Things are clearer than they were with glasses. Colors look different too.
I’m still having some issues with closer things, but far away is very crisp. It’s sharper than it was yesterday, and I know it will be a while before my eyes finally stabilize.
I am having trouble reading things up close, so I may need to get reading glasses, but that’s a condition of my age, not the surgery. I did have the option of having one eye corrected for distance and the other for reading, but I wasn’t interested in trying monovision. Because of my history of migraines and headaches from eye strain, monovision was not something I wanted to risk.
