I’ve had this many times. The past few days I’ve had a sore throat but I thought it was from drainage from my sinuses as I was having bad allergy attacks. I’ve been monitoring my tonsils, and tonight I discovered that my right one had the telltale white pus sacks (while my left one which is the one that hurts appeared just red and inflammed). I knew I didn’t want to wait until Monday for my doctor’s office to open, nor did I want to waste the ER’s time. I went to an Express Care clinic and they did a rapid strep test. It came back positive. So now I’m on antibiotics. So no squats nor pushups today as my throat is so painful that I didn’t want to do anything.
