It was only 22 degrees Fahrenheit, but it wasn’t snowing so that was a plus. I improved my time dramatically over the last one I ran, but still came in 14 minutes behind the winner. I had to drop to a walk a few times so I could blow my nose and clear out the mucus that kept forming from the cold. I came in 6th in my age group.

1st Annual Bulldogs' Ice-Breaker 23 months ago

January 26, 2008 in Meadville, PA, this 5K Run & Walk is sponsored by the MASH X-C Boosters to raise funds for a scholarship fund for graduates of the MASH X-C team to further their education.

Race time is 11:00am. Course is 5K out and back starting and finishing near the Meadville High School. It’s a “flat course” that takes the runners near Tamarack Lake.
