Quality is much more important to me than quantity in blogging. I go about my life which includes lots of reading in my NetNewsWire and creating special subscriptions to keywords I’m interested in at the moment. When the inspiration hits, I jump on it and blog it. Make that extra little effort to capture and go with that inspiration and not just let it go by. Usually, I don’t know what I’m going to write. So, the creating comes next. What do I have to say about this?
Then, when I write posts, I like to pay attention and see if I can write well. I read what I’ve written and edit it to make it a better read. I enjoy doing that. I love excellence. This not a book or a published article, though, so I don’t write multiple drafts or anything. I just like to see if I write well.
But, I also like to express myself – self disclosure – even if it’s not important. I just keep my radar going staying alert to little shareable items.
