speak spanish

I got my textbook a while back and I’ve been getting A’s on my tests. But I don’t really feel I can speak Spanish. I can read it though, but that’s different. Well, I’ll probably change the status do done when I finish both my Spanish courses.

Well, since I have a friend who speaks Spanish and I ate lunch with him and his friends at school, I think this counts a bit. I don’t really understand what they talked about at all, but I started getting used to it and now I’m hoping to take a Spanish course this summer. But I’m signed up for the course so sooner or later I’ll be learning Spanish.

It’s just kind of hard when I get made fun of for speaking Spanish because my accent is horrible. But there’s plenty of time to work on that one.
