Ran from Riverside Drive and 160th, down Riverside Drive, across 120th, along 110th, through the Conservatory Garden, and down the bridal path to 72nd Street. A nice way to get my running back.
After a horrific week where I didn’t get enough exercise in I finally got out on my bike. What a relief!
First cold morning in Manhattan. 50 degrees with a wind. I had on tights and a long thermal top under my jersey. I was dressed perfectly, but toes and fingers were a little cold when I got back. I’ll have to dig out my shoe covers before too long.
I started getting out of the seat on every hill, but ran out of gas. Ended up having more leisurely ride. Did 4 laps in just under 90 minutes.
Did 80 minute run on a cold morning on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail near New Paltz. Gorgeous flat trail. I’d missed three days, so it was good to be back working out.
Long trail run on the Wildwood Trail, past the Pittock Mansion. Probably 8-9 miles. Up and down and up and down and up and down. Did the last mile down in the dark. Amazing run! Go Dee and Jane!
Did amazing Ashtanga Primary Series class at Yoga Pearl. I’m hooked. This is my first glimpse of real-deal yoga.
Did a 90-minute trail run on the Wildwood Trail through Forest Park in Portland. I’m almost ready to move to Portland just for the trail running.
