List 43 things in my life for which I'm grateful

31). Being able to go to Harbour Town shopping centre to pick up fantastic bargains when we are on holidays.
32). The Kangaroo’s that live come and visit our house that are always interesting to see.
33). The three possums that live in our roof that eat the cats biscuits and provide us with a great deal of entertainment.
34). The property that we are lucky enough to own. It is great to have a roof over our heads that is our own.
35). It is fantastic being Australian and having the Australian Cricket to barrck for. They are debateably the strongest in the world.
36). Having the Australian Rugby League team to watch who are the best at what they do.
37). McDonalds Strawberry Smoothies that I really enjoy drinking.
38). Bannana thickshakes which I really enjoy drinking on occassions.
39). My ishares China fund. It is great to have the opportunity to invest in such a fast growing economy. Which is a great long term proposition for the future.
40). The opprotunity to have travelled to Singapore where we had lots of fun and visited places such as Fort Silos, their fantastic zoo and night Safari and great general shopping.
41). THe opportunity to have travelled to HongKong, Macau and Zhuhai. We did a tour of Macau which was great fun and we shopped in Zhuhai. Hongkong had a long list of sights such as the Tian Tann Buddha, riding on the Star Ferry and going to Disney Land.
42). Having had the opportunity to go to New Zealand. When we were there we looked around Christchurch and were particularly impressed with the Antartic Centre. We also got to travel on the Tranzalpine Railway which had great views.
43). The fact that I am alive and can have more adventures.

I have now finshed this goal and have really enjoyed reflecting on the things that I am grateful for (27/11/09).

26). Australia fair shopping centre on the Gold Coast which we have really enjoyed visiting for a long time when we are on holidays.
27).Kebabs I love eating these when I am out.
28). Living within flying distance of South East Asia. There are a lot of countries that I plan to visit in future years.
29). John Cusack. I have loved watching his movies over the years.
30). The 7up series which I have really enjoyed watching every 7 Years.

21. The local library for borrowing and internet use on occassions.
22. The cheap litter which keeps the cost of looking after our indoor cat down.
23. Pacific Fair shopping centre which we regulalry visit when we are up the Gold Coast.
24. Robina Shopping Centre which we look forward to visit again and again when we are on holidays on the Gold Coast.
25. The Rooster Rugby League team that I enjoy barracking for. Even if they did collect the wooden spoon this year.

16). Strawberry smoothies I really love these.
17). My broking website which gives me a great deal of useful information.
18). Rugby League which I love watching each winter.
19). Midnight Oil a great band that I like listening to the music and saw twice in concert.
20). Special K which I eat for breakfast every day.

11). Pancakes that I love to have for breeakfast on the weekend.
12). Test cricket which I watch each summer.
13). Having a job to pay the bills.
14). Skyhooks whose music I still love to listen to all these years after they finished up.
15). Having a well developed share market in Australia that I enjoy investing in.

6). Broken down computers that keep my son happy playing with them.
7). Broken down telephones that serve the same purpose as above.
8). The friendly country town that we live in.
9). The fact that we live only about 2 hours from the Gold Coast and can have great short holidays away from home on a regular basis.
10. The 43T web site that gives me a great deal of pleasure.

I thought this was a useful thing to put on my list to try to increase my positiveness by recognising the important things in my life. These would be both at the moment and things that will help me improve my life in the future. So here goes….

1). My wife, she, who helps me with everything in my life.
2). My son who gives me a great deal of joy.
3). Australia, I am lucky to live in a stable and prosperous country.
4). Budget airlines. The development of budget airlines has allowed me to have the opportunity to travel both in Australia and overseas.
5). My cats who are always a great deal of fun.
