my older son wants to be a pro basketballer. what he is good at is math and writing. I tell him about accounting – not so he’ll be an accountant, but so he’ll get a good business background. because what I think he really wants is to make a lot of money and boss people around (sometimes we call him “the little king” which really irks him).

my 9 year old loves flash games and movies. not always age appropriate ones either. I’m trying to get him to learn flash so he can make his own movies. the limit here is I don’t know flash well enough to teach him. so that’s another thing on my list. my 7 year old is very good at drawing and storytelling. I want him to get more into storyboarding and collaborating with his brother. one of these days we’ll get it together. I just need to keep up the effort.
