Not all my shots were great, but the great thing about a big memory card is even if only 10 out of 100 shots are good I don’t have to wait & pay to get them developed!

I’m enjoying taking more photos and seeing new things or old things differently.
I took some photos of the neighbours kids, printed them & gave them to them. They said:
“Thanks Tony – these photos are just fantastic, the best ones that we have of them!”
I think that’s the best part. Giving other people joy.
Took some shots after catching up with a mate who is heading overseas.
Had a play with exposures and trying to keep steady!
In New Zealand gorse is a weed with ugly thorns, but I tried to capture some of its beauty in its flowers.
I got my new 2GB card and took my camera on my run today and walked through the bush looking for shots. I was pleased with a number of them, but liked this one best.

I really enjoy using the close up function of my new camera. I’m keeping up with this goal, but not able to upload my photos due to a memory card issue which will be resolved soon (hopefully).
I caught an excellent shot of my 10 year old getting a loving, spontaneous kiss from his great-grandma in the weekend.
Wellington has some beautiful works of art, like this huge silver fern ball hanging in civic square.
