I weighed and i lost 5 lbs since last week. :) I know it’s not the beginning benefits in starting a diet, losing the first week, more than 2 lbs. I still feel good about it. It’s definitely a motivators. I know I can expect 2 to 3 lbs next week, but it adds up.

I did itmostly by motifying my diet. It’s amazing what you can lost when you actuallly think about what you put in your mouth.

This week my goal is to move more.

I have my graduation from grad school and a college reunion to attend in June. I just want to feel and look good. I also have like 3 wedding to attend. this summer.

I’ve really really have enjoyed this goal.. I joined a gym a few weeks ago and i feel much better. I see my patttern emerging where I go in the early part of the week a couple of times and then once on the weekend.
I’ve been sick the last few days, so I haven’t gone.

bought goggles and swim cap. The plan.. start swimming tomorrow.

after work, go to the gym and do laps for a bit, then sit in the sauna. Ahhh.

I went to the gym again today and worked out for an hour. It felt great. I like this new gym. It’s fancier than I’m used to but I like it. I’m hoping to go to a class this weekend.
This fall i”ve had the opportunity to play a lot of tennis and go on a back packing trip. It’s been fun. It was with these friends who are in amazing shape. I was thinking about how I used to be considered an athlete in the crowds I hung out with. I was in great shape, I’d do some sort of sport not for excercise, but because it was fun and I enjoyed it. I know I can be that person again. I want to be that person again. I want to not have to think twice if we decided to go on hike that has elevatation gain. I want to be the one racing up the mountain, not the slow caboose. I have it in me. I need to find that person again.

Joined a gym today! I like it alot. It’s kind of fancy and a little expensive. I’ll be worth it if I use it. What I love about it is that it fits into my schedule well. I can easily go there after work and be home by 3:30 ready to do school work.
I like the hours and what really convinced me was that they have an African Dance class with live music and a women from W. Africa!!!!!! I can’t wait to go tomorrow. I’ll go after work.

My intention is to get in shape. It’s been interesting. I made the call to join Curves, not that happy with it all, but went to visit. It’s fine, but not quite the hours I need. Last night at a party friends were talking about a place and it sounds great. It’s got African DAnce classes, pilates, rockclimbing swimming. everything.

I found a two week trial membership and Ill start tomorrow! It’s about 20 more a month, than curves. I’m going to test it out these next couple of weeks andif I like I”m going for it.

Explored the possiblities of joining Curves. I’m hoping it’ll jump start my energy level. I have an important event in November, one is my presentation and one is a family reunion. We’ll see. I’m not expecting miracles, but I think it’ll help me feel better.
