lost 7 pounds so far….. keep going….

On my way,

I lost 4.5 pounds last week.  Weight watchers works. I am sure it will slow down, but I feel motivated and good.

Made some movement on this goal. I went for an hour long bike ride which felt great. I’m tired and sore but can feel myself getting stronger.

I’ve been going to yoga on thursdays which is great. I just signed up for anohter round of classess. Love it .

I also signed up for tennis class. I used to play years ago on leagues and I’m back. I am a little worried in that my knew hurts a little and I worried about when I get out ont he court.

But in general I have been more activie and it’s good.

went to the gym on Wednesday. I plan to go tomorrow .

Also the goal depending on weather. I plan to go for a bike ride.



I feel motivated.

Yesterday I walked 20 minutes and swam for 1/2hour. I loosely following a training schedule for training for the Danskin. I really think this goal will get me in shape. Signing up for the race, really helped.

I did it like 10 years ago and I will do it again. I can't believe it's been 10 years. Last time I did it under 2 hrs. That is still my goal.I was in better shape, but I know the course and I'll have  better faster bike. 
I do need to lose weight and not just from training.  I need some cut backs.  I know I'll feel great for the race.
My plan is to increase walking to 1x a week and swimming once a week and weight training and stationary bike once a week at the gym.  When the weather is nicer I'll increase biking outside. I'll also do lake swimming in the summer.
Depending if I can find a route that works. I'll try to ride my bike to work a few days a week. It's about 12 miles  or so. that's 24 a day. I could try taking  public transportion one way. Taht would be great. I did that last time I trained and it was such an easy way to do it.  the biking was the easiest for me.  I was pretty fast ,even on my slow bike.


signed up for the danskin triathlon in Aug.

and a 5 k in two weeks .

Yikes. wAlking the 5 k will be hard,

I am motivated. I have done this before, both 5 ks and tris but not recently. i will do it.!!! I’m excited.

I weighed and i lost 5 lbs since last week. :) I know it’s not the beginning benefits in starting a diet, losing the first week, more than 2 lbs. I still feel good about it. It’s definitely a motivators. I know I can expect 2 to 3 lbs next week, but it adds up.

I did itmostly by motifying my diet. It’s amazing what you can lost when you actuallly think about what you put in your mouth.

This week my goal is to move more.

I have my graduation from grad school and a college reunion to attend in June. I just want to feel and look good. I also have like 3 wedding to attend. this summer.

I’ve really really have enjoyed this goal.. I joined a gym a few weeks ago and i feel much better. I see my patttern emerging where I go in the early part of the week a couple of times and then once on the weekend.
I’ve been sick the last few days, so I haven’t gone.

bought goggles and swim cap. The plan.. start swimming tomorrow.

after work, go to the gym and do laps for a bit, then sit in the sauna. Ahhh.
