I’m a little late starting to make this goal more active, but I finally have time to focus on health and well being.
I’m going to make a few small changes that will balance of adding thing I know are “good” for me. and dropping things that a “bad” for me.
First
Add….. eat 5 servings of veggies and fruits a day.
Drop… eating cheap candy.

I started a new diet. Ok, I know diets don’t work, yet isn’t a healthy diet still ‘going on a diet” .
My mom convinced me to try Dr Phil’s program. I’ve been pretty skeptical about it since it came out. My cousin, lost 125 or so pounds on it. He was close to 300 pounds. about 2 years ago and he still looks great.
. I still wasn’t that interested in it until I was home and my mom said she tried it and she lost 40 lbs, pretty easily. It’s high in protein, but includes carbs. It’s more about eating the carbs early in the day. It also includes a variety of foods. We’ll see. I have class reunion in June, plus I graduate from grad school in June and I have like 3 weddings to go to this summer. I want to really look nice.

I have a very social summer coming up and I want to feel good about how I look.
I have my offical graduation , a school reunion, 2 maybe 3 weddings, new job, speaking at a conference. All this summer. I need to remember this goal!!
