be fluent in Arabic

I have yet to finish the grammar book, but there’ll be time for that over the next couple of years.
Also, after grad school, I want to work in the Middle East. Surely, that will make me an expert in the language :)
And I’ll have a dictionary, watch a lot of film and TV in Arabic, and … meantime I must return to the Arab Film Festival next year or the next. The AFF is such perfection.

In Cairo. This morning before work I looked through the book and it doesn’t seem difficult. It will help me with Lexis and Structure and other grammar rules, help a bit with vocab and not much more.
Perhaps I’ll take the AUC Intermediate course in May-July? Perhaps.

Going to do a six-month internship in Cairo, so my Arabic will certainly improve a lot.

I’ve been working…good girl. I just went through Alif Baa without the tapes. I’m going to do it again with the tapes. Oh yeah, oh yeah.

Since making a new goal of working through an easy book called “Arabic in 10 minutes a day,” I’ve started spending some time on Arabic again. The book is mostly review, and I’m glad to have some momentum now in studying the language. Yay.

When I have some free time, I’ll like to go the nearby public library to watch Arabic films for free. This should help with my learning the language and culture. In particular, I’ve heard a lot about Egyptian melodrama. It’s time to find and watch a few classics.
Not right now, I’m so busy now.
