talk to strangers, all the time

I love this! It’s nice to see that other people out there want to talk to strangers. I hate akward times like in elevators or waiting in lines where people just are silent and afraid to talk to each other, but if someone starts the conversation, people generally go along with it. I was on an airplane a few weeks ago and sat next to this guy who was about my age and we started talking half way thru the trip and he was in the military and going to be deployed in a few weeks, but was flying home to see his mom. anyway, we talked for a while and i ended up walking with him to his next gate because he wasnt familiar with the airport, and i dont even know his name, but it was just a random connection and another story for me to tell. i love that.
