Worked out for ten straight days, and now have skipped two days. It’s going to be a bitch to cross this off the list. But I’ll be back in the gym tommorow.

Well, I have swam at least a mile a day for the past six days. I feel a lot better, and I can feel each of my other hours becoming more productive as my body becomes more efficient. I’d like to start adding things to my workout, but I’m not going to start putting pressure on myself to do so until the swimming becomes absolutely routine. I’ve gotten in good shape before just by stringing a couple months together where I swam everyday, and even if I don’t get in shape as quickly as I might like, at least it’s worth it to feel somewhat stable every day, rather than feeling depressed.
I swam a mile at the rec yesterday and today. I am going to see if I can make myself swim every day for a month.
Today was day one on the workout track. Didn’t go so well, never does when you first get back into it though. Tommorow I hope to swim laps. Maybe swim and then lift on alternating days. The important thing maybe is to keep pecking away at it a little every day. I can’t figure out whether I’m really good at pecking away at things or really bad at it. Either way, it seems that I continaully make things almost insurmountable and then decide to put up a fight, so that I am constantly pecking.
