I think I have everything down except the advanced features (closurs, method-to-proc, metaprogramming). I’ll keep working on it.
I got into Ruby mainly because of Rails, but I’m really starting to appreciate the language in general. And the more I learn, the more I like it. Anyone who crosses this goal off after you’ve just written a couple of scripts, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Find a project, a big project to do that will force you to really learn the language. I’m doing that right now and what I keep finding amazes me.
