make a bag

Here’s the bag that was inspired by the element water.

I have officially made my first bag.

And the next two are well under way.

What you see on the picture is a friend of mine holding the bag. Not exactly a good picture of it, but it’s all I’ve got so far.

Anyway, I love it.

I’ve done A LOT. I’ve bought all the supplies for my four bags, which I will make as a project for school, and I’m well along on the first one.

So far, I’ve got both sides done as well as part of the bottom. It’s looking pretty good. Photos will come soon.

I have found a way to get a grade for makin a bag too! We need to complete a personal project, and so I am making four bags, one representing each element.

I’ve been working on knitting the fabric, using hemp. It’s lookin good so far…

i found a sewing machine, A LOT of thread, plenty of wool, and some left-over cloth in the cellar…. I’m very excited! Now I think I might modify and mold my plans arround what material I have here (i.e. i wana save money…)
but its lookin good!

I’ve found directions online for a pretty nice (and ok, I’ll admit it – easy) beach bag. I need one any way, and this way I don’t have to look arround for one that’s not covered in pink flowers. I just have to find some place that sells winbreaker material arround here…
