I think I am kidding myself with this goal. Almost 3am…not even thinking about getting to bed. I am totally a night person. But I love mornings…early mornings are so peaceful. No one else is up, and there’s something so calming about the morning air.
Thankfully, my classes start later next semester!!! But I would like to go to the gym early in the morning (7am-ish…crazy), in hopes that there won’t be too many people there. So, I’m not giving up yet. I could do with getting to bed early only half the time.

going to bed at 6am (i guess that would be the record now) is not good. started break with a bad schedule which is rather hard to fix. this may have to wait until next semester, when the work load starts out reasonably and i am forced to wake up in the morning.

I was doing pretty well for a while, going to bed by 11:30 (early for me). Then I just stopped and fell back into my old habits, not getting to bed before 12:30-1:00. It was nice while it lasted—I really like being well rested. So, starting right now, I will get off the computer, get ready for bed, and be in bed by 11…half an hour from now.

I’ve had a terrible sleep schedule for years! A normal bedtime for me is about 2am. And usually 4am at the latest and 12:30am at the earliest. Having to wake up early in high school, I basically lived in a sleep deprived daze, feeling like crap. Waking up later in college has been much better, but I still don’t manage to get enough sleep. Since I have to get up early to work this summer, for the past week I’ve actually been getting to bed around 11pm, and I feel much better! Ideally, this summer I would like to maintain a bedtime of about 10pm on weeknights, but I guess I have to slowly work towards that. For some reason, I just have this thing where I like to be up really late, pretty much doing nothing…that’s gotta change!
