Cooked foods are rather tempting—too temping. I seem to have a problem sticking with it on the days that I go grocery shopping. So, I think that in order for this to work, I need to start out 100% raw (with the exception of some steamed veggies) and gradually allow small amounts of cooked food into my diet until I reach the right amount. By then, hopfully I will be set in my raw food ways enough not to ever over do it on cooked foods. I guess I’ll start this on Monday and start adding acceptable cooked foods after a week.

After trying a raw foods diet for about 6 days, and then eating cooked food today, from which I still feel like I have indigestion several hours later, I think that I would like to eat a mostly raw diet. I don’t want to get super strict about it, as I have already made plenty of food limitations and do want to keep certain cooked foods in my diet (though some may be possible to prepare raw), but I definitely want to make an effort to eat mostly raw. So here’s to yet another food journey…I feel like I am always in search of the best diet, or lifestyle, rather, but hopefully I’m getting there…
