Today I ate Milo (chocolate) icecream and I’m sorely regreting it now! My stomach hurts a lot, I feel like I’m going to throw up and it’s amazing how quickly my asthma has gotten worse!
Well, this will teach me for next time I’m thinking about how good icecream looks…

Okay, I’ll admit it… I had chocolate today! :-(
But the good news is that my dairy cravings are almost all gone! (It helps that I found a good brand of soy icecream!)
I’m trying though!

I worked out that I’m lactose intolerant a few months ago when I decided to go on a short term detox (no dairy, no sugar and no caffiene for two weeks) just to get me out of bad habits and clean out my system. During that two weeks I felt fantastic! Afterwards, I went to transition to a normal diet and discovered that dairy not only made my asthma much worse, but also made me sick to the stomach.
I switched to soy milk (I even found a brand that doesn’t suck!) and started up a relatively dairy free live, but unfortunately, easter made me give into temptation! To be honest, chocolate is a HUGE weakness (and the fact that there’s charity chocolate for sale at work is just a torture!)
My goal is to wean myself off the temptation of chocolate and be completely dairy free for at least a month. So far, I’m on day 3.
