have a library

current ‘library’ stands at 52 books, according to Library Thing. I have discovered the wonder that is the book section of charity stores, so I expect I will go hunting sometime in the next week or so for more books that are on the ‘1001 books you must read before you die’ list, or general books from my TBR.

Bought two second hand books today at my school Fete for 50 cents each – The Lovely Bones and Schindler’s List.

I wanted to buy the lovely bones and probably would have bought a new version if I hadn’t of found this one. :) I have saved a tree!

books are all nice and swell but I believe that along with books there is also room for a CD library, or DVD. I have more CDs than books so I’d also like a large collection of CDs. :)

Diary of a young girl – Anne Frank
Tess of D’Urbervilles – Thomas Hardy
Wuthering Heights – Emily Bronte

Just bought the complete works of Jane Austen for only $14.95 AUD. That’s an awesome bargain! And it’s a massive book I hope to read sometime soon.

Anna Karenina – Leo Tolstoy yesterday. This is the second book I’ve bought in my life..Lol. The other books I have have been bought for me. Hoping to get more books soon.

I actually own about ten books…ack. There are a lot of childhood ones but they were more ones i shared with my sister rather than actually own myself.
But it’s only early days as I am only sixteen. I am hoping to buy Memoirs of a Geisha soon because the waiting list at the library is so long and I dont really want to wait a year to read it.
