Read The Lord of The Rings

Have completed the Fellowship of the Ring, which was pretty good. I have to finish my A-Z author challenge goal first, but then I will be back to reading the Two Towers and The Return of the King.

up to the council of elrond, in all its fantastic and dull glory. Must get past this bit!

I’ve gotten up to the bit in the Fellowship of the Ring where Sam, Frodo, Merry and Pippin have been going through the Old Forest by Pony, at the beginning of their adventure.

Just a hint to those who have trouble reading this because it’s small font and feels like it takes ages – LARGE PRINT! It is easy to breeze through the large print book pages because they have fewer words and larger print. Thanks to the large print version I am very much enjoying the story as I would any other story and to read it seems more enjoyable because I can read through it faster. :) Oh how I love the person who invented large print books. I may have 20/20 vision, but large print can still be useful!

Have I NOT DONE THIS YET!?!

I really have to do this soon. I’ve had this goal for a year. Seriously.

After I get the books that are currently on hold at the library, I am going to put The Fellowship of the Ring on hold at the library and I’m going to do this one step at a time. It’s a little daunting reading from the book that contains the entire three so breaking it up is good.

Argh. There are so many goals on my list that need urgent attention and this is definately one of them.

I’ve started this a couple of times, but i get bored around the time of all the stuff that happens at that council in the fellowship of the ring, as that bit lasts for AGES. I loved the movies and hopefully I can actually manage to finish the book without getting bored or stopping to read something else.
