My current dog is getting quite old, around 12 or 13. I’ve heard that getting another dog will not only aid in the strain of losing the first, but also pep him up in his waning years. I don’t want a puppy, too much work, and I refuse to pay for a dog when so many are need good home. So I’ve just got to get down to my local shelter and pick one up, but on the other hand, I’ve got this one so well trained I’m not sure I want to go through the hassle. I’m going to think on it some more.
