organize my photos

At least with the online pictures. I am going to go through and lable all my pictures and make sure they are all facing the right way. Then I will get started with all the pictures sitting in boxes under my bed…that will be a project!

SO my husband and I put all of our pictures in Picasa and now they are all in one place and they are all upright and labled. I think the next step is to get all of our loose photos together and either in boxes or albums. We have so many loose photos laying around and it would be great to get them in some kind of order.

I would also like to go through Picasa and pick out photos that I would like to print out and send them to Wolf camera to be printed. Then I can make more albums. This may take a while, it takes a lot of ambition to do this when I get home from work and it may be a project for after we move…we will see.

I downloaded Picasa on my computer a couple of weekends ago. So that is good. I didn’t have time to actually go in and organize things…that will have to wait a couple of weeks. It was a good first step, though. I am trying to figure out if it is worth it to scan all of my previous photos or if that is just overkill. Maybe just my very favorite ones so that they come up on my screensaver and I can send them to friends and stuff.

I have so many digital photos and loose pictures and it seems so wasteful to not have them organized so that I can enjoy them. I am not going to put a due date on this one, but I hope that I can have them together before we move again.
