We saw Arkansas during our trip as well. We stayed in Little Rock on our way home to Phoenix from Chicago. I have to say that I was pretty unimpressed. It could’ve been that we only really stopped at gas stations and motels in Arkansas, but it just didn’t seem to be that nice. The scenery, however, was gorgeous. We could see the Ozarks from the highway and I would definitely like to take a trip back so we can explore a bit.

Again, we saw Missouri during our roadtrip to Chicago. My dad works in Missouri a lot and he really loves it so I was excited to see what it was all about. Most of the driving we did was in the rain, but what we saw was really pretty. We stayed overnight in St. Louis, which seems like a really fun town. We ate in the Washington University campus area and looked around town. Such a great city and I love the Arch.

My husband and I drove from Phoenix to Chicago and back a couple of weeks ago. On the way we drove through Oklahoma. I was surprised to see how beautiful it is there. The scenery is gorgeous. We mostly just drove through on the way to Chicago, but on the way back we stopped in Oklahoma City. It was a very pretty and nice-sized city. Reminded me of Providence in size, which I love.

I have been through Virginia, but haven’t seen much of it. All I remember is that it was very green and pretty.

I visited Wyoming a couple summers ago while driving to San Francisco. We were on the outskirts of Yellowstone and the scenery was gorgeous! Definitely BIG SKY country!

I have been to Wisconsin a bunch of times. Mostly Lake Geneva with friends and family. It is really nice there.

I have been to Milwaukee for business, which reminded me of a mini-Chicago. Loved it!

Other than that, I have just gone to concerts at Alpine Valley.

We have driven through West Virginia a few times. It is gorgeous. I never expected it, but the mountains are amazing. One great memory was having my credit card number lifted by an Applebee’s waitor and getting all kinds of charges. Nice!

The most beautiful! I worked on a client in Vermont for almost a whole summer in 2003. I was up in Middlebury, VT, which was really pretty. During one of the weekends, my husband and I went to Burlington. It was the best weekend. We went to a beer fest, listened to live music, had some great meals, shopped around the town. It was incredible. We would love to live there someday.

Did I mention the foliage. OY! Amazing!

I have been to Utah many times in my life. My grandparents lived there until recently near Salt Lake City. I have been there too many times to count to visit them.

A couple of summers ago, we were driving through there and saw my grandparents and saw the Mormon temple and toured through other parts of the city. It was very interesting.

This past summer, we went to a good friend’s wedding in Park City, Utah, which was very pretty and fun. I had been skiing there once before, but had never been there in the summer. The town is really cute there!

I have been to Texas three times, all for work.

The first time was for my new hire training in Dallas. It was for two weeks and we were only in the convention center, went out a couple of nights downtown, went to a Rangers game, and Six Flags. I broke my finger riding a mechanical bull!

The second and third times were within the same month to Houston. One of the girls I was working with took me around to see the city. We went to the Galleria (which was massive!), went to dinner at Pappadouix (sp?), and then she took me through River Oaks, Rice University, and Montrose. I was working downtown, so I saw a lot of the city. It is very nice.
