public speaking

I recently took a new role at my company and we had a big meeting lasts thursday that I was supposed to introduce myself at. I was so nervous and scared that my manager had to introduce me instead.

I really need to get better at this. I am aware that it may never be my strength, but I would at least like to be able to speak at a meeting. My god…it is not that big of a deal, but it might as well be by the fear that I have.

I really need to work on this.

I would rather do just about anything than speak in front of a crowd…even in front of a room…of my closest friends. That is how nervous I get!

I need to get over this. I will look into joining toast masters in San Francisco after busy season.
