go back to college

I’ll be enrolling for Fall classes at my local community college. Then hopefully after the 2 years, continue at an actual art school.
I still can’t believe that I didn’t go right out of high school. It was something that I had prided myself on doing. And taking a year off became two. But no more! Yay.
I’ll major in photography and I really can’t wait.

hi everyone.
i went up to my school’s admissions building yesterday to take my asses test and to figure out all my financial paperwork.

the test told me nothing new; i suck at math, but am above stellar on english writing/reading. so i will have to take basic algebra. gross. but if i get some books and study and practice, i can test out on the first day of class. i’ll be placed in english composition.

the financial papers are going to be sent to my mother express style so she can fill out her part and then sent back to the school.

this is getting really real for me now!

does anyone else feel this way?
i graduated high school in 2006. and i just haven’t gone to college yet. i really desperately want to go because i would be the first from my family (both mom and dad’s sides) to go.
as a senior i had my mind set on criminal justice at a college in new england. i sent in my app and found out that i was accepted and then i had to fill out the financial stuff and never did and then i never made the payment to secure my spot. and then i thought that i could get it all in and just start in winter.
and then i sat and talked to my mom and she knew i wanted to be an artist up above anything else and she talked me into not going for cj. but the college that i was accpeted into didn’t even have an art program. grr.
i finally (after many dead-end jobs and no money) applied to an art school that is a nearby city. i’ll hear soon about acceptance and get financial papers. i just have to have the guts to finish allt he paperwork on time and not chicken out again.
