i’m going to take it one day at a time. i did not pick my pimples today!
i need to resist consistently day after day in order for me to see results and have my skin finally heal. this will hopefully make me look prettier :) thus motivating me to keep the good thing going…

...and i continue to struggle with this compulsive, destructive habit.
I resist for a week at a time at best before temptation gets the best of me, and before I know it “just one pimple” turns into a full-fledged attack on my face.
The consequences are depressing: my face becomes dry and flaky all while being covered in red marks, whiteheads and scabs.
When and how can I overcome this struggle for good?

Ummm, so i have been resisting the urge for almost three days now, but my skin almost seems to be getting worse…if this is even possible.
whatevs, I guess I will just have to wash my face more.

There is a pimple forming below my nose, right underneath my nostril. I really want to squeeze it, but I am NOT going to.
On another note, I have noticed that I really used pimple picking as a stress release mechanism. Without this to fall back on, I find myself reaching for food (i.e. chocolate) more often. Clearly, this is not a good thing.
Well, I suppose I can only conquer one thing at a time, so for now, I will just focus on the picking.

Starting NOW!
I’ve been a member of this site for 3 years. For 3 years, my #1 goal has been “stop picking my pimples”. For 3 years, I have picked my pimples, blackheads and zits practically everyday, resulting in even more pimples and an ugly complexion.
However, today marks the dawn of a new era. I am no longer someone who picks my pimples. No matter how pus-y and juicy my pimples are, i WILL NOT TOUCH THEM!
If in exactly one month time I have not picked a thing, I will declare this goal achieved.
!!!
